VTN Update
More than 40 vendors came out to show off the goods for the Winter Vinyl Toy Network. Delicious Drips introduced the new DIY Starter Kits featuring a full set of Liquitex Acrylics with a 5-piece brush set.
We also brough a bunch of new Blind Box Minis including the Dalek Space Monkeys, Kozik Redrum, Potamus, Mini Bombs, and Toy2r zipper pulls.
One of the more promising things at VTN this year was the amount of custom pieces out on the market. Artists have definetly been finding ways to bring very limited run pieces to the market at prices that are competitive with production vinyl. This is the type of phenomenon that really excites us because it shows that people are becoming receptive of custom art. Even though Delicious Drips is expanding into new product categories, we’d like the core focus of the company to promote artists pursuing DIY culture.
