ME MadL Contest Update

With 22 entries to date, the contest seems to be drawing a pretty good turnout. Hopefully we can turn at least double or triple the amount of contestants.

On another note, it looks like the competition venue will be moving to D-Structure Gallery on Haight Street. There are several reasons for this including the shipping being much easier from D-Structure, the ability to have all ages compete in the event, and much more space. At D-Structure, we will also have control over the music. We apologize for anyone who was excited to do the event at the ‘W’ hotel, but to make it up, we will be serving beverages and food at the event.

Although this MadL will not be featured in the contest, it caught our eye. It’s a piece done by Jason Jacenko. It was actually his first toy, and a very impressive one at that.
