Bleep Labs x Delicious Drips release DIY Thingamagoop!

Bleeplabs has joined forces with Delicious Drips to release the first ever DIY Thingamagoop. This version will feature a matte white or black finish for easy painting, plus a mystery bag of Thingamafaces.

Dr. Bleep came to San Francisco several weeks ago to introduce us to the Thingamagoop. We were intrigued to find such an interesting company doing hand made robots without function. That’s not entirely true. They have a function, which is to make LOTS of crazy noises.

Upon first picking one up, we were a bit timid. It took a little while to understand the effect the various knobs and switches have on the noise output. Then we realized something; No matter what we do with Thingamagoop, he is awesome. He responded well to dancing, shaking, spinning, jumping and just about every motion we engaged him in.

He has a little photocell receiver as a nose which makes him responsive to a variety of lighting conditions. By modulating his knob and switch, one can evoke sheer awesomeness from his little speaker.

One question still comes to mind?

What do I use it for?

Being awesome

See him in action!

Delicious Drips will carry a build-it-yourself kit along with the new DIY version.

DIY Thingamagoops will ship mid-October
